Figuring out what Medicare covers, what it does not, and the steps to obtain the coverage needed can be very confusing. If your clients don’t take the right steps at the right time, they could be subject to penalties for the rest of the life and pay too much in premiums. In addition to gaining valuable insights on what you need to now to effectively help your clients,  you will learn:

    • Dates to pay attention to when it comes to Medicare
    • How much  your clients can expect to spend on Medicare
    • The differences between Medicare Advantage and Medigap Plans and which plans make sense for whom
    • How premiums are determined; when and how to appeal extra  premiums for higher income clients
    • How capital gains, Roth Conversions and RMDs affect future Medicare premiums

Each course has been approved for 1.0 hours CLE by the Alabama Bar Association and 1.2 hours of business related CPE by the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.

CLE for Attorneys:  If you provided your Alabama State Bar number, Meld Financial will report your attendance to the Regulatory Department of the Alabama State Bar.

CPE for CPAs:  This program is designed and administered to qualify for the noted hours of credit. However, each participant is responsible for self-reporting and claiming credit only for the actual hours of attendance.
