    Social Security is far more complicated than people expect. The decisions your clients make now can have a tremendous impact on their retirement and financial well-being. In addition to gaining valuable insights on what you need to now to effectively help your clients, you will learn:

    • How benefits are calculated
    • Factors your clients need to consider when deciding when to apply for benefits
    • Innovative spousal claiming strategies designed to give your clients extra income
    • How widows and widowers can coordinate spousal benefits with their own to maximize benefits
    • The impact on income if your client claims Social Security before full retirement age and continues to work

    Each course has been approved for 1.0 hours CLE by the Alabama Bar Association and 1.2 hours of business related CPE by the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.

    CLE for Attorneys:  If you provided your Alabama State Bar number, Meld Financial will report your attendance to the Regulatory Department of the Alabama State Bar. 

    CPE for CPAs:  This program is designed and administered to qualify for the noted hours of credit. However, each participant is responsible for self-reporting and claiming credit only for the actual hours of attendance.
