The Meld Financial building

Finding the right financial advisor is a daunting but important task. The firm you choose will have a profound impact on your financial success, so it is important to make the right decision.

When you choose Meld Financial as your advisory firm, we take the stress out of managing your finances. That begins with our simple onboarding process that keeps you in control of your financial future. Then, it continues through the process of building and continuously updating your Financial Fingerprint®.

Simple Account Opening and Funds Transfer

The first step after partnering with Meld is to create your new accounts and transfer funds from other financial institutions. Our team is there to guide you through every step of this process.

Account transfers can take two to four weeks. During that time, we will work to get your internet portal access established, so you can monitor your accounts from anywhere. We will also guide you through the other decisions you will need to make like naming beneficiaries and your preference for e-delivery or paper statements.

Once your accounts are established and funded, we will review your assets together. As we do this, we will answer any questions you have about your investments and the role each plays in your financial future.

In-Depth Initial Portfolio Review and Follow-Up

In the weeks following your account transfer, we will work with you to fully understand your financial picture. This includes gathering documents like your will, trust documents, tax returns, and insurance policies. We will also document your CPA, attorney, and insurance companies, so we can gather further details as needed.

In addition to documentation, we will discuss your financial goals. This is the most important part of the onboarding process, because it helps us to recommend changes to your investment allocation, insurance, and tax plan.

With a complete understanding of your financial picture in hand, our experienced team of tax, legal, and investment professionals will confer on your situation. Then we’ll work together to determine a course of action designed to meet your retirement and savings goals.

Finally, we will meet with you to review your Financial Fingerprint®. At this time, we may recommend changes to your portfolio, insurance, or other necessary updates – like changing beneficiary designations to match your wishes.

Convenient Periodic Reviews

Once you have been established as a Meld client, we will contact you to schedule periodic reviews on a schedule that matches your needs. At these meetings, we will review your Financial Fingerprint® in its entirety. This nimble financial plan was developed in-house after decades of helping clients achieve their financial goals. It brings together the most important aspects of your financial life including investments, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, and more.

During your review, we will also discuss any new developments in your life like an update to your intended retirement date, an addition to your family, a new job, or a change in your attitude toward investment risk. We will then incorporate these changes into your financial plan.

Finally, no meeting would be complete without discussing your investments, reviewing how they have performed, and answering any questions that you have. We also use this time to ensure that you feel informed and comfortable in your financial future.

We Support You Every Step of The Way – So You Can Retire With Confidence

We strive to set ourselves apart from other advisory firms by making ourselves available to answer your questions as they arise. Our team is always happy to take your calls and discuss your financial situation or concerns.

In short, we are here for you through every step of your financial journey. That means being available to make changes to your financial plan as life happens – and always being there when you need guidance.
